- Insert the dart into the blowgun, with its point facing towards
the muzzle of the blowgun
- Take a deep breath and hold it while placing the lips on the mouthpiece
of the blowgun
- Aim the (muzzle of the) blowgun at your target and exhale in one
short burst
As the effectiveness of your blowgun technique depends mostly on your
breathing, it may take a while for you to get used to this way of
exhaling.
The Accuracy of Blowguns
There are different types of blowguns, and in general blowguns with
a longer barrel have a longer shooting range. Blowguns and accessories
are easy to obtain and cheap blowguns are probably the best option
if you are interested in getting to know these guns and teaching yourself
how to use them. As with basically any other type of sport, practice
makes perfect and no matter how advanced or expensive your blowgun
is, it all comes down to using the right technique for shooting. If
